MANY DEDICATED INDIVIDUALS have served as President for the Ladner Fishermen’s Cooperative Association (LFCA) / Ladner Fishermen’s Hall (LFH) since our inception in 1943. Of note is one individual who has distinguished himself as having served the longest time, some 36 years, in this position… Frank Taylor.
He initially served as President 1974 through 1981. Homer Stevens followed as President from 1982 through 1989. Frank was again elected President in 1990 and served 28 consecutive terms through to and including 2017.
When Bruce Stevens was elected President in 2018, Frank took on the position of Secretary-Treasurer.
The LFCA and Fishermen’s Hall are grateful for Frank Taylor’s selfless service to our Association, the Hall and the community of Ladner.

SPAGHETTI DINNERS AT FISHERMEN’S HALL will long be remembered by those who came to enjoy a delicious meal in the company of family and good friends. Frank Taylor dug into his Hall memories and found this nugget, as well as one of an old dory laying on the bank of the Fraser River… thanks Frank!
